Pathway of Discipleship

What is Alpha?

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith, in a friendly, open and informal environment. Alpha is not so much a course but an experience. Gathering once a week over an eight week period, each Alpha experience brings together people from every walk of life.
We begin each Alpha gathering by sharing a light offering of food. We eat together, we listen to a talk and then we gather together in small groups for discussion. Over 29 million people across the globe have done Alpha. Alpha is for everyone and anyone.
The beauty of Alpha is that there are no questions that are too hostile, too silly or to simple. Alpha has no prerequisites whatsoever. We come together with one another as we are, free to be ourselves.

Developing Habits for Happiness

Feb 24, 2018
Humble Path to Happiness
Happiness is not an accident—it’s a choice. You were meant to live a life free from worry, shame, and resentment, but it won’t happen just by chance. In this one day seminar, we will explore the Letter of Paul to the Philippians. In this letter, St. Paul explains how we can make healthy choices to help us develop habits for happiness.
We will explore:  1. Growing healthy relationships through relational habits Paul modeled in his own life. 2. The humble path to happiness as we explore 4 traits in relationships that reduce conflict and increase harmony. 3. How to keep from stressing out as we look at 5 strategies to manage anxiety.
